Education and Work Experience:

Mo earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Alberta in the spring of 1994 and became the pharmacy manager of the family drugstore in Wolf Willow (69 Avenue and 170 Street) that same year. He remained the manager there until November 2004 when he got elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta (MLA).  During his term as an MLA, Mo tried to volunteer once or twice a month at the pharmacy to help his parents, keep up with advances in his discipline and to remain in touch with his former patients. While it was not a requirement for elected members, he chose not to bill for his volunteer time.

Mo is also President of Canada Care Corp., a home-based manufacturing and consulting company established in 1998 and based in Edmonton.
